On Thursday, July 29th, the downstairs carpets will be cleaned.  We have been asked not to walk on them so the church will be closed that day and any meetings planned should be held upstairs, which includes using the upstairs restrooms.  The deadline for the bulletin will be Tuesday afternoon so that it can be run on Wednesday prior to the office being closed on Thursday.  Thanks for your cooperation.

The Property Committee invites you to join them on July 10th for a church-wide work day.  We will start at 7:30 AM with coffee and donuts; work will start at 8:00 AM and be concluded around 11:30 AM.  A barbecue lunch will follow.

We have many different projects.  Trimming bushes, pruning trees, tree removal, power washing concrete, mulching beds and trees, and window sill cleaning are just a few of the chores we have planned.  We are looking to get as many folks as possible to help spruce up the place for VBS and visits by new pastoral candidates!!!!

All are welcome and we would love to have as much help as possible.  Even if you have two left feet, please plan on coming to give moral support and fellowship.  Along with getting a lot of work done, a good time will be had by all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please welcome our newest Presbyterian Church of Deep Run Members!  They will be officially received into the church later in June.  Please take a moment to say “Hi, welcome to the Deep Run family!” when you see them.

Share the Glow and Get in the Know!

What does THAT mean? We invite you to ‘Share the Glow’ on Sunday, June 27^th when we welcome our newest members into our church family. There will be a BRUNCH in their honor at 11:15 a.m. right after the 10:00 service. There will be plenty of food and you will have a chance to meet these new members and see who their sponsors are. We also invite you to ‘Get in the Know’ as the Deacons and Shepherding Committee roll out the new Member Care Teams. Come find out which team you are in, meet some of your fellow team members, your leaders and co-leaders (contact persons), the church officer for your team and hear how teams function. As an added bonus at the BRUNCH, the new DRPC directories will be distributed to each household represented. The directory will also contain the listing of all the member care groups in the back of the new phone directory.
