As many of you may know, our church community suffered a shocking loss on Sunday with the sudden death of Cindy Strouse. We all need to pray for her family and be open to the peace and grace of God in this time of grief and sadness.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: Friday evening, December 4, there will be a viewing from 7:00 till 9:00 at the Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home in Doylestown. Saturday at 10:00 AM there will be a viewing in Hoopes Hall and a celebration of Cindy’s life in the sanctuary at 11:00, followed immediately by a reception in Hoopes Hall. The family will return from the interment to join the reception.
Cindy’s family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Presbyterian Church of Deep Run.
Many of you want to know what you can do to help Don and his family. At the present time, Pat Shuck (215-538-3689) is organizing food for the family, but in the near future other needs will be identified. You will be informed of those by email and announcement.
In addition, if you want to contribute food for the reception or help with any other part of Saturday, please contact the church office (215-249-3689).
