The Fall Women’s Retreat, October 24, 2009
ByThe Fall Women’s Retreat took place October 24th with 30 women in attendance. As the ladies arrived, registration was seen to and then they were guided to the Breakfast Bar and morning coffee and tea. There was time to visit before the actual program began with an opening prayer and songs. The focus of the day was learning about WISDOM according to what the scriptures reveal and how it can applied in daily life. One portion of the program involved groups of women acting out a scripture passage given outs by Carol Ramsey, the day’s presenter. Just before the lunch break, four (4) $15 gift certificates to Berean Bible Book store were awarded. The lunch appeared to be a hit and the afternoon session continued afterwards. Before the ladies knew it, the day was gone. If you missed this retreat, you might like to plan on attending the Spring 2010 one on March 13th. Also, mark your calendar for our annual Christmas Tea- Sunday, December 13th from 2-4pm in Hoopes Hall.
